Finnmark - Sápmi

The foreigners who came here called this Finnmark.
The land of the Finns, meaning the land of the Sámi.
For us this is Sápmi.
I grew up here.
So did Cato.
We both carry the beauty and the power of this landscape,
the faces, the people, the stories with us.
His photographs resonate in me. 

I lived most of my life here.
I have traveled far and seen most of the world.
I really enjoyed all that, and I still do.
But I still love it here and this is where I feel at home.
